HIGHLIGHTS
The Kawasaki Triple legacy began in 1967 when the company needed a replacement for its four-stroke W1 twin-cylinder model (a BSA clone, inherited when Kawasaki absorbed Megola), and a more powerful machine than their 305cc two-stroke twins. The project was code-named N100, and the goal was to create a 500cc motorcycle with 60 HP that was capable of running the all-important quarter-mile drags in the 13-second range. The Mach III was introduced in 1968 and met all its design criteria, using a 3-cylinder two-stroke design, with piston-ported intake via three Mikuni 28mm carburetors and a novel capacitor-discharge ignition system that was totally maintenance-free. The price was very reasonable, as two-strokes are simple to manufacture, and the weight was a modest 384 pounds. The center of gravity was well to the rear of the H1’s midline, which combined with a tuned two-stroke engine’s abrupt power delivery, meant the H1 had a tendency to wheelie that was surprising and disconcerting to some, and an absolute joy to others.
This rare, unrestored 1976 Kawasaki HK500 is in fine condition, in the original copper paint with lots of pinstriping and unique badges, and is the only year the Triples came with a disc front brake as standard. It’s also the only year they had a normal gearshift pattern, with neutral between first and second, so riding this machine is a bit less hairy than it older siblings, but still plenty of fun.

All cars 11 years or older are mileage exempt according to Wisconsin law.

If you bid and do not pay, you will be reported to our collection agency. This may potentially effect your credit.
In the event of an invalid payment (returned checks, NSF, chargebacks, etc.) we reserve the right to repossess items without notice.
OFFSITE BUYERS: IMMEDIATELY contact us if an alternative payment method is preferred (i.e. cash, check), payment must then be submitted within three business days. If no payment is made by the third business day, the credit card on file will be charged for the buyers premium. If we do not receive an email from you by 9AM the following business day, we will run your card.
The credit card used for bidding registration is charged the morning of the next business day following the auction unless otherwise specified (respond to Unpaid invoice or add to Notes to Auctioneer). If the card does not go through for the full amount owed, WYoder Auction, LLC has the right to charge the registered card a percentage of the balance due.
Due to prior delinquent payment history, if payment in full is not received by third business day after auction end, W Yoder Auction, LLC will increase Buyer's fee to 25% and percentage will be added to invoice balance. Example: auction ends Saturday, payment in full must be received by end of business day Wednesday.
All items are offered as-is, where-is with no warranty; a Buyer may not dispute the condition of the item. YoderSold (W Yoder Auction, LLC) claims no responsibility for the condition or description of this item. This item does not include any protection offered by YoderSold (WYoder Auction, LLC). A Buyer may not submit a dispute claim on this item.
CAR DETAILS:
W Yoder Auction, LLC is a licensed Wisconsin dealership and are required by law to charge sales tax, title and licensing fees.
All purchased vehicles must have temporary license plate to leave the lot (provided by WYoder Auction, LLC) unless valid, transferable plates are presented (brought with to auction). Special plates are not available.
All WI residents required to pay tax, title, and licensing fees unless a licensed Dealer with papers.
Out-of-State Buyers are required to pay sales tax for their state of residence on titled automobiles.
Out-of-State Vehicle Buyers are responsible for finding their own vehicle transportation.
All sales final "AS-IS", no warranties, including vehicles. No refunds. Wire transfer required for all International Buyers.

SHIPPING DETAILS:
W Yoder Auction ships FedEx, please register a physical mailing address if shipment is expected, as
W Yoder Auction/FedEx does not ship to PO Boxes.
Over sized items that cannot be shipped through FedEx can be crated and freighted; additional labor, packaging and supply fees applied at $26 per hour, $6 minimum.
PICK UP DETAILS: Please read auction details for pick up dates and times.
You will have until Wednesday by 9:00AM CST to pick up your vehicle. If your vehicle is not picked up by then, you will be charged $500 for transportation from Minnesota to Wautoma, WI. You will then have to pick your vehicle up from our auction house in Wautoma. There will NOT be a daily holding fee.
If large items have been purchased and are being picked up, W Yoder Auction, LLC staff is not responsible for loading; the Buyer is solely responsible for bringing help/muscle to assist in loading items purchased.
W Yoder Auction, LLC is not open on weekends, though requests of relocating items outside to pick up over the weekend can be arranged. Items placed outside the building are not protected; if items are damaged/missing/stolen, W Yoder Auction, LLC is not responsible and the Buyer will not receive a refund.
Unless alternate pickup or shipping arrangements are made, any items remaining after pickup date will be considered abandoned, forfeited, become property of W Yoder Auction, LLC and returned to inventory; no refunds.
OTHER DETAILS:
If you see a lot marked as "age unknown," that means we do not know how old it is, but in our opinion it may not be old.
"Authentic/Original" means we believe it to be all original. Everything marked "authentic/original" will be guaranteed.
"Not Old" means our opinion is the item is not very old.
"Fantasy Art/Yard Art/Garage Art" means an original was never made.
All sales final; "as is" no warranties, including vehicles.
Any and all bidders must be 18 years of age or older.
All disputes settled in Waushara County Court in Wautoma, WI. All items sold as is with no warranty.
